Producer Jermaine "JD" Dupri recently talked about not having an executive producer role on Usher's new Raymond v. Raymond album.

JD claims Usher did not attempt to reach out to him for his latest solo album.

"Well, I didn't really want to be executive producer of Usher's projects after Confession. Me as a producer, it's kind of hard for me to go back into people's projects when I gave you your biggest album ever...you sold more records than any other artist in this decade based on that album and now I have to ask you am I the executive producer of your next album? That seems disrespectful to me. Obviously, I'm looking at something different than everyone is looking at it whether it's the label, the artist, management... whoever it is. I've had this same conversation with L.A. Reid, because I'm doing Mariah Carey's album right now. And on her last album, I didn't have one song on there. But I did Emancipation of Mimi and she sold more records than she sold in the last five years. What part of the game makes y'all not call me? But I'm not going to keep sticking my neck out. But I don't feel like I'm supposed to ask to produce anymore. People are supposed to come to me and tell me that I'm the executive producer. That's why I get more kicks working with younger artists." Usher's latest album reached gold status last week.

R&B superstar Usher's Raymond V. Raymond slid one slot to No. 5 this week with 52,000 and lost out to Glee Cast's Power of Madonna which topped the charts with 98,000. According to Nielsen Soundscan, Usher's latest album has sold 538,000 copies after a month in stores. (SOHH Sales Wrap)

DWAYNE WADE'S CHILDREN SUE GABRIELLE UNION . . . FOR BREAKING UP THE PARENT'S MARRIAGE!!

Apparently the estranged wife of Miami Heat guard Dwayne Wade is going LAWSUIT CRAZY. Yesterday, Siovaughn filed a lawsuit against a her former attorney, claiming he failed to act in the best interest in their children during the couple's divorce.

But that’s not all. Siovaughn filed another lawsuit on behalf of her 8-year-old and 2-year-old sons seeks damages against film actress Gabrielle Union on the grounds that she broke up the marriage.

In the first lawsuit, against her lawyer, Siohvaughn claims that Lester Barclay of the law firm Dixon & Smith was appointed to be the advocate for her children during the divorce. According to her, Lester ignored reports of abuse or neglect by Dwayne Wade. It does not SPECIFY what type of abuse Dwayne reportedly did to his children.

The lawsuit against Gabby is even more out there. Siouvaugn is claiming, that she "apparently decided to take her role [as a seductress] . . . beyond the films and into the home of a married man .. . . in the presence of his two minor children."

Sounds like she’s really reaching now. Siouvaughn . . . girl . . . we know it hurts. But you need to move on. P.S. don’t forget to squeeze as much paper as you can outta Dwayne on your way out the door.

Suspect Arrested in Times Square Bomb Attempt

A 30-year-old Pakistani-American pulled off a midnight flight to Dubai is facing terrorism charges stemming from the botched car bombing in New York's Times Square, authorities said today.

Faisal Shahzad, a Pakistani-born and naturalized U.S. citizen who was living in Connecticut, was arrested late Monday, some 53 hours after the bombing attempt, investigators said.

"We anticipate charging him with an act of terrorism transcending national borders, attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction, using a destructive device during the commission of another crime, as well as assorted explosives charges," Attorney General Eric Holder told reporters in Washington this afternoon.

"Based on what we know so far, it is clear that this was a terrorist plot aimed at murdering Americans in one of the busiest places in our country," Holder said. "We believe that this suspected terrorist fashioned a bomb from rudimentary ingredients, placed it in a rusty SUV and drove it into Times Square with the intent to kill as many innocent tourists and theatergoers as possible."

Shahzad was expected to appear in federal court in Manhattan today, where he'll be charged, authorities said earlier.

In an interview with BET.com, Nas explains why his beat selection skills are pretty weak, and it all comes down to waiting until the last minute.

“Well I have a wish list sometimes or I have a dream list of who I would love to work with and wish they would want to get in the studio and do records or whatever,” Nas told BET.com. ”Then I have my own ideas of being a producer. And what happens is a lot of time goes by with me being indecisive so it winds up with me kind of like doing what I have to do really fast because I played around for so long. Then, the deadlines come.”

However, don't think for one second that the Queens lyricist doesn't have his ear to the street. Nas knows exactly where the heat is. "But, you never know who has it, everyone’s got a lot of talent," he shared. "You have Little Brother, you have Drumma Boy. There’s a lot of dudes I like right now. You have DJ Toomp."

Dorothy I. Height, founding matriarch of civil rights movement, dies at 98

Dorothy I. Height, 98, a founding matriarch of the American civil rights movement whose crusade for racial justice and gender equality spanned more than six decades, died early Tuesday morning of natural causes, a spokesperson for the National Council of Negro Women said.

Ms. Height was among the coalition of African American leaders
who pushed civil rights to the center of the American political stage after World War II, and she was a key figure in the struggles for school desegregation, voting rights, employment opportunities and public accommodations in the 1950s and 1960s.

She died at 3:41 a.m. at Howard University Hospital, a spokesman there said.

Ms. Height was president of the National Council of Negro Women for 40 years, relinquishing the title in 1997. The 4 million-member advocacy group consists of 34 national and 250 community-based organizations. It was founded in 1935 by educator Mary McLeod Bethune, who was one of Ms. Height's mentors.

As a civil rights activist, Ms. Height participated in protests in Harlem during the 1930s. In the 1940s, she lobbied first lady Eleanor Roosevelt on behalf of civil rights causes. And in the 1950s, she prodded President Dwight D. Eisenhower to move more aggressively on school desegregation issues. In 1994, Bill Clinton awarded her the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor.

In a statement issued by the White House, President Obama called Height "the godmother of the Civil Rights Movement and a hero to so many Americans."

"Dr. Height devoted her life to those struggling for equality . . . witnessing every march and milestone along the way," Obama said. "And even in the final weeks of her life -- a time when anyone else would have enjoyed their well-earned rest -- Dr. Height continued her fight to make our nation a more open and inclusive place for people of every race, gender, background and faith."

In the turmoil of the civil rights struggles in the 1960s, Ms. Height helped orchestrate strategy with movement leaders including the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., Roy Wilkins, A. Philip Randolph, Whitney Young, James Farmer, Bayard Rustin and John Lewis, who later served as a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Georgia.

Ms. Height was arguably the most influential woman at the top levels of civil rights leadership, but she never drew the major media attention that conferred celebrity and instant recognition on some of the other civil rights leaders of her time.

In August 1963, Ms. Height was on the platform with King when he delivered his "I have a dream" speech at the Lincoln Memorial. But she would say later that she was disappointed that no one advocating women's rights spoke that day at the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. Less than a month later, at King's request, she went to Birmingham, Ala., to minister to the families of four black girls who had died in a church bombing linked to the racial strife that had engulfed the city.

"At every major effort for social progressive change, Dorothy Height has been there," Lewis said in 1997 when Ms. Height announced her retirement as president of the National Council of Negro Women.

Early champion for women's rights

As a champion of social justice, Ms. Height was best known during the early years of her career for her struggles to overcome racial prejudice.

She was also energetic in her efforts to overcome gender bias, and much of that work predated the women's rights movement. When President John F. Kennedy signed the Equal Pay Act in 1963, Ms. Height was among those invited to the White House to witness the ceremony. She returned to the White House in 1998 for a ceremony marking the 35th anniversary of that legislation to hear Clinton urge passage of additional laws aimed at equalizing pay for men and women.

"Dorothy Height deserves credit for helping black women understand that you had to be feminist at the same time you were African . . . that you had to play more than one role in the empowerment of black people," Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-D.C.) once said.

As president of the National Council of Negro Women, Ms. Height was instrumental in organizing and sponsoring programs that emphasized self-help and self-reliance.

Those included nutrition, child care, housing and career counseling. In response to a public TV program, "The Vanishing Black Family," Ms. Height helped create and organize the Black Family Reunion Celebration, which has been held on the Mall and in cities across the country annually since 1985. The gatherings are intended to honor the traditions, strength and history of African American families while seeking solutions to such social problems as teen pregnancy and drug abuse.

"The reunion is as important today as some of our marches were in the past," Ms. Height said in 1992.

In 1995, Ms. Height was among the few women to speak at the Million Man March on the Mall, which was led by Louis Farrakhan, the chief minister of the Nation of Islam. "I am here because you are here," she declared. Two years later, at 85, she sat at the podium all day, in the whipping wind and chill rain, at the Million Woman March in Philadelphia.

"She was a dynamic woman with a resilient spirit, who was a role model for women and men of all faiths, races and perspectives. For her, it wasn't about the many years of her life, but what she did with them," said former U.S. Secretary of Labor Alexis M. Herman, a close friend who has been running day-to-day operations at the National Council.

Herman called Ms. Height "a national treasure who lived life abundantly. She will be greatly missed, not only by those of us who knew her well, but by the countless beneficiaries of her enduring legacy."

A constant fight for equality

Dorothy Irene Height was born in Richmond on March 24, 1912, and she grew up in Rankin, Pa., near Pittsburgh, where she attended racially integrated schools. But she felt the lash of racial bigotry early in her life. A music teacher in her mostly white elementary school appointed her student director of the school chorus, but a new principal forbade her to take that position. At the next school assembly, the chorus refused to stand and sing until Ms. Height was reinstated as leader, and the principal relented.

The principal subsequently became one of her staunchest supporters, Ms. Height recalled in her 2003 memoir, "Open Wide the Freedom Gates."

As a high school senior and the valedictorian, she won a national oratorical contest, and with it a $1,000 college scholarship. But the college of her choice, Barnard in New York, had already admitted its quota of black students -- two. When Ms. Height applied, she was informed that she would have to wait at least a semester before she could enroll.

Instead, she went to New York University, where she graduated in three years and received a master's degree in educational psychology in her fourth year. In 1980, Ms. Height was chosen to receive Barnard's Medal of Distinction -- the highest honor the college can give.

As a young woman, Ms. Height made money through jobs such as ironing entertainer Eddie Cantor's shirts and proofreading Marcus Garvey's newspaper, the Negro World. She went nightclubbing in Harlem with composer W.C. Handy.

Ms. Height began her professional career as a caseworker for the New York City welfare department. She got her start as a civil rights activist through the Rev. Adam Clayton Powell Sr., pastor of the Abyssinian Baptist Church in Harlem, and from the pastor's son, the Rev. Adam Clayton Powell Jr., who later represented Harlem in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Ms. Height later said that as an officer of the Harlem Christian Youth Council, "I was one of the multitude whose first experience as a civil rights activist was in walking and talking with merchants on 125th Street."

'Freedom in a colorless society'

After attending an international church youth conference in London in the summer of 1937, Ms. Height returned to New York with the conviction that she needed to operate from a broader base than that of a welfare caseworker. She found her opportunity that November at the Harlem branch of the YWCA during a visit by Eleanor Roosevelt. Bethune, president of the Harlem YWCA, was impressed by Ms. Height's poise and style in greeting the president's wife, and she promptly offered her a job. "You come back -- we need you," Ms. Height recalled Bethune saying.

Quitting her job as a welfare caseworker, Ms. Height joined the staff of the Harlem YWCA. She remained a full-time YWCA staffer until 1975, serving the last 18 years simultaneously as president of the National Council of Negro Women.

As a child, she had once been turned away from the Pittsburgh YWCA swimming pool. As a YWCA staff member, she was instrumental in bringing about an interracial charter for Ys in 1946.

In the 1940s, Ms. Height came to Washington as chief of the Phyllis Wheatley YWCA branch. She joined the staff of the national YWCA board in 1944, and, until 1975, she remained on that staff with a variety of responsibilities, including leadership training and interracial and ecumenical education. In 1965, she organized and became the director of the YWCA's Center for Racial Justice, and she held that position until retiring from the YWCA board in 1975. She was a visiting professor at the Delhi School of Social Work in India, and she directed studies around the world on issues involving human rights.

Ms. Height became national president of the Delta Sigma Theta sorority in 1947, and she held that position until 1957, when she became the fourth president of the National Council of Negro Women.

Over the next four decades, she established a national reputation as a graceful and insistent voice for civil rights and women's rights. She was tall and stately -- some said regal -- and she spoke in a tone that always commanded attention. She rarely had to raise her voice.

"If the times aren't ripe, you have to ripen the times," she liked to say. It was important, she said, to dress well. "I came up at a time when young women wore hats, and they wore gloves. Too many people in my generation fought for the right for us to be dressed up and not put down."

Ms. Height never married. She is survived by one sister, Anthanette Height Aldridge of New York City. She was often described as the "glue" that held the family of black civil rights leaders together. She did much of her work out of the public spotlight, in quiet meetings and conversations, and she was widely connected at the top levels of power and influence in government and business.

In the 1960s, Ms. Height was uncomfortable with the "black power" rallying cry of young civil rights militants, and she said that the phrase "has harmed our cause. . . . The fact of the matter is that we do not want black power for American negroes. We don't want white power for American whites. . . . The kind of power we seek is the power of freedom in a colorless society -- the power to help build a constructive nation and a constructive world together with our fellow Americans."

But in time, Ms. Height would revise her opinion and say the "black power" slogan had merit. "White power in the system in which we live is a reality. . . . Simply talking about bettering race relations without changing the power relations will get us nowhere."

Influence from Mississippi to Africa

As the women's rights movement gained momentum in the early 1970s, Ms. Height forged alliances with white feminist leaders, while disagreeing periodically on matters of tactics and racial emphasis. "African American women have advanced in every field that women have advanced, but the sad point is that those are the few and not the many," she said.

Under her leadership, the National Council of Negro Women sponsored voter registration drives and organized an education foundation for student activists who interrupted their education to do civil rights work.

Another 1960s program, Wednesdays in Mississippi, was a favorite of Ms. Height's. It consisted of weekly trips to Mississippi by interracial groups of women to assist at Freedom Schools and voter registration campaigns. This was often perilous work, especially during the summers of 1964 and 1965, when the hundreds of young civil rights volunteers who streamed into Mississippi were routinely harassed, sometimes beaten and, in a few cases, killed.

In the 1970s and 1980s, the council helped organize and operate development projects in African countries. It ran a "pig bank" project in rural Mississippi in which pigs were given to poor, hungry families so they could raise them, with the understanding that two pigs from subsequent litters would be put back into the bank for another family.

Over the years, there were fundraising drives for a statue of Bethune and acquisition of a large and imposing headquarters building in downtown Washington to house the National Council and the Dorothy I. Height Leadership Institute. The building, with white oak woodwork, a marble staircase and fluted cast-iron columns, stands at 633 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, the site of what was once a slave market. For years after stepping down as president of the National Council, Ms. Height made daily visits to her office there, using a walker or a wheelchair as she became infirm.

"She not only expected us to keep going, she instructed us to keep going," Herman said. "She would ball that fist up and say that the National Council of Negro Women wasn't about one or two persons. She balled her fist to say that you can strike a mighty blow when you make a fist and work together."

Ms. Height had served on the advisory council of the White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities and the National Advisory Council on Aging. Her awards included 36 honorary doctorates from colleges and universities, including Harvard and Princeton. On March 24, 2004, her 92nd birthday, she received the Congressional Gold Medal, the highest decoration Congress can bestow.

But Ms. Height often urged her co-workers to "stop worrying about whose name gets in the paper and start doing something about rats, and day care and low wages. . . . We must try to take our task more seriously and ourselves more lightly."

Kids these days really don’t know how good they have it. Back in my day, having one’s video game ~~obsession~~ hobby sanctioned by the venerable Boy Scouts of America was merely a pipe dream of some utopian future.

That future is now, people: The Boy Scouts have officially introduced a video games badge into their awards curriculum. Earning the belt loop requires explaining the ESRB video game rating system, officially inking video game sessions into your calendar (holla!) along with homework and chores (boo!) and learning to play a new “approved” video game.

Young Scout gamers can go on to earn an academics pin by completing five of nine potential requirements, none of which includes beating “Through the Fire and Flames” on expert. Bummer — that skill will surely translate somewhere, someday.

This could be simply described as moving from user-initiated (search) to auto-serving (suggestions) technologies, and it’s about to change the way we live, communicate, make money, shop, collaborate and more. Instead of actively searching for things, we will be presented with them, as we live our lives.

Facebook (Facebook)’s new “instant personalization” is just the beginning of an era in which we will slowly allow more and more technologies to shape our discovery and decision processes. As they become more integral to our lives, search as an activity will become less relevant. Here is why.

1. The Search Process is Inefficient

Most of the technologies and platforms we use these days require our action. In order to achieve anything, we have to acknowledge the need, make a decision, and then follow through.

Example: You need a new swimsuit for the summer and you decide to find one that best matches your search criteria: Color, style, size, etc. You use Google (Google), ShopStyle, TheFind, or any other smart shopping engine. This simple task requires a bit of thought and effort on your part.

What if you could skip this process and let technology offer you the perfect swimsuit once the summer season arrives, without asking you to take any action?

2. Mobile GPS Eliminates the Need for Location-Based Search

Let’s look at location searches and the hottest startup of the moment –- Foursquare (Foursquare). In order to enjoy the rewards and badges of this location-based game, users are required to manually “check-in” at various places via GPS-enabled phones. We already see some mobile applications changing these behavior patterns. Dating is one of the first verticals killing the search function. By using GPS technology, mobile startups such as Urban Signals connect strangers on the go, as they live their lives and walk on the streets of their neighborhoods. Right now, they are powered by instant human connection –- when you see someone you like, you send a signal and connect. But what if the device was actually signaling you when you walk by someone who could be a good match?

3. Social Matching Could Create Valuable Connections

Beyond dating, the same principles could be applied to the ways we do business, shop, and consume information. Instead of initiating the actions, we could simply receive opportunities based on our preferences and lifestyle.

Imagine a mobile app created for networking events which allows you to skip useless intros and irrelevant pitches, and instead connect directly with people who match your business goals (a natural evolution for LinkedIn (LinkedIn)). Or consider a web service that automatically matches people on the same mission, which would be great for social organizations and non-profits.

For example, one of your friends is very passionate about sustainability and another is an organic clothes designer. Professionally, they are only separated by few degrees, and their social data shows that they live in the same neighborhood. Combined, they could do a world of social good, but unless you think about introducing them, they might never connect.

By allowing technologies to make auto-matches from the group pool of social networks, we could create a more networked and efficient society by connecting like-minded people.

4. Content Recommendations to Replace Search

The same approach could be used for consuming content. Instead of scanning newspapers, magazines, RSS feeds, blogs and Twitter (Twitter) streams, only to find a fraction of the content matching our interests, we could have the best matches delivered to us, as it’s created, and filtered by our relevant social data.

It’s already happening on social platforms like Facebook and Twitter, where we get content recommendations from our friends and followers. Last week, Facebook’s Open Graph launch took the next step and opened a two-way street between the network itself and the larger web. In addition to providing an “instant personalization,” it is turning all of us to “instant curators.”

Assuming you’ve built a network of people with similar interests, you may never have to search for content again. You can simply rely on your network to deliver the top news to you, or point you in the right direction when visiting your favorite destinations.

Of course, this system still requires someone to discover and share content in the first place, and search is one of the ways to do so. But it’s only a matter of time until new technologies fill in the gaps left by your network, and ensure you receive every piece of relevant content from across the web, prioritized accordingly.

Shopping is the best space to adopt suggestion technologies. If you’ve ever tried searching for an item of clothing or a gadget, you probably got lost in thousands of product choices, only a fraction of which would suit your needs.

Even today, universal social platforms like Facebook are able to provide enough personal data for a variety of technologies to automate these common processes, essentially replacing our need to search.

Will Google Catch Up?

It’s not a coincidence that Facebook has begun to surpass Google as the most visited site in the U.S. The shift will continue as we change our behavior from searching for things to discovering things through our social networks and geo-location services.

Although Google does try to make its search more social by adding results from the major networks, much of their focus still rests in “people searching for things.” If this behavior changes, it might put a big question mark on the future of this empire.

At this point, Google still has a chance to adapt to the new decade. After all, they do index nearly all online content, products, businesses and even locations via Google Maps (Google Maps). The question is how they use the data they collect. The faster they understand this shift in human behavior, the more chance they have to stay in the game when search becomes a far less important task.

One is a hip-hop legend, the other descends from reggae royalty. This May, Nas and Damian 'Jr. Gong' Marley are teaming up for what could be the most groundbreaking new 2010 album to hit stores all year. 'Distant Relatives,' the long awaited collaboration album from the duo has been talked about for quite some time, now -- some would say, far too long.

It all began at the 2009 Grammy Awards, when Nas confirmed to MTV that he was working with Marley on a new album that would "build empowerment" and "show love." Beginning in 2008, the duo spent about three months together recording with a live band in studios across Miami and Los Angeles, according to Entertainment Weekly.

'Distant Relatives' isn't short on star power, either. Joining Nas and Marley in the studio, and making appearances on their new 2010 album are Stephen Marley, Joss Stone, Stevie Wonder, Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne and K'naan. The thematic orientation of the album is rooted in African heritage, poverty and social commentary. As Marley told Rolling Stone, "We're trying to have a sound that's reminiscent of both of us, but not exactly like either."

After several delays, and rampant speculation about whether or not the record would ever get finished, a release date of May 19 was finally settled upon. The past few months have also seen numerous leaks that were later found to be unauthentic, but on February 23, the two finally released their first official single, 'As We Enter.' There was a time when YouTube (YouTube) was considered a wild-wild west of content — a place where marketers shied away from uploading their commercials, let alone building a branded channel. But these days, YouTube has become more mini-van than stagecoach. From Toyota Sienna’s high-profile television commercials urging consumers to visit their YouTube channel, to (what might be considered the anti-minivan) Harley Davidson’s fan-centric YouTube universe, there has been a noticeable shift in corporate adoption of the platform.

There are many companies now that are hopping on the bandwagon. Just about every corporation and small business is creating a branded channel on YouTube, but there are still relatively few marketers who have managed to harvest the full potential of the platform.

Whether your brand already has a YouTube channel that’s in need of a facelift, or if you’re interested in developing one from scratch, this article will provide some practical tips and valuable tricks to help you kick-start the process.

1. The Test Tube on YouTube

Look at your YouTube channel as a new, exciting learning lab. Be malleable in your approach to both the content and design of the channel. Don’t be concerned with acquiring thousands of friends and subscribers right away. Use this time to test, gather insights, and see what works for your brand and what doesn’t. 6. Broadcast Your Best Self

If a viewer visits your channel, you’ll only have one chance to impress them with your content, so if you don’t entertain them or offer some overwhelmingly valuable information, you’ll lose an opportunity.

7. Make a Menu of Content to Feed Everyone

Understand that YouTube is a search engine for video. Create tailored content that considers what consumers are searching for or need to know about your products and services. If you play your cards right, when consumers are searching for information about your competitor, they’ll come to your videos first. Instructional and how-to videos that show consumers how to use your product are always a good place to start, but also consider the value of integrating your product into existing YouTube shows and then favoriting those videos on your channel.

8. Juice Your Marketing: Extract Extra Value

YouTube does not exist in a vacuum. Try to integrate your YouTube channel into the rest of your marketing programs and cross reference/promote your content. You can extract more value out of your event marketing if you think about ways to co-produce video content. Remember, integrating marketing channels and initiatives is well known for producing a campaign “multiplier effect.” Whether it’s video shot at a trade show or a promo for an upcoming event, just make sure that the video is well produced and edited for length.

9. Be Homegrown

M.I.A 'Born Free"

Within a day of its widely discussed debut on the Web, the video for M.I.A.’s song “Born Free” has, in some instances, been removed from YouTube and in others labeled with an age restriction. The video, made for the first single of M.I.A.’s coming album and directed by Romain Gavras, the son of Costa-Gavras, depicts an unspecified military force, with some members wearing American flags on their uniforms, rounding up redheaded men from an apartment complex and taking them to a desert to be tortured and executed. In its community guidelines, YouTube says videos can be taken down from the site for violations like excessive violence, and can be flagged if users believe the videos violate these guidelines. YouTube declined to say if any versions of the M.I.A. video were taken down due to its violent content. The video is also posted on M.I.A.’s Web site.

Malcolm X Killer to go Free After 44 Years

Thomas Hagan was captured shortly after the assassination of Malcolm X on Feburary 21, 1965.

Thomas Hagan pleaded his case for freedom: To return to his family, to become a substance abuse counselor and to make his mark on what time he has left in this world.

He was dressed in prison greens as he addressed the New York parole board. He had been before that body 14 other times since 1984. Each time, he was rejected.

Hagan is no ordinary prisoner. He is the only man to have confessed in the killing of Malcolm X, who was gunned down while giving a speech in New York's Audubon Ballroom in 1965.

"I have deep regrets about my participation in that," he told the parole board on March 3, according to a transcript. "I don't think it should ever have happened."

The board granted him his wish. On Wednesday, Hagan, 69, will be free.

He was sentenced to 20 years to life imprisonment after being found guilty at trial with two others in 1966. Since March 1992, Hagan has been in a full-time work-release program that allowed him to live at home with his family in Brooklyn five days a week while reporting to a minimum-security prison just two days.

To win his release, Hagan was required to seek, obtain and maintain a job, support his children and abide by a curfew. He must continue to meet those conditions while free. He told the parole board he's worked the same job for the past seven years. He told the New York Post in 2008 he was working at a fast-food restaurant.

A parole officer checked on him while outside prison, and he had to undergo random drug tests.

The prison to which Hagan has reported for two nights a week, the Lincoln Correctional Facility, is at West 110th Street and Malcolm X Boulevard.

CNN was unable to reach Hagan for a comment about his release. The Nation of Islam declined comment for this story.

Malcolm X is best known as the fiery leader of the Nation of Islam who denounced whites as "blue-eyed devils." But at the end of his life, Malcolm X changed his views toward whites and discarded the Nation of Islam's ideology in favor of orthodox Islam. In doing so, he feared for his own life from within the Nation.

Malcolm X remains a symbol of inspiration for black men, in particular, who are moved by his transformation from a street hustler to a man the late African-American actor Ossie Davis eulogized as "our own black shining prince."

The ballroom where he was killed has now been converted into The Malcolm X & Dr. Betty Shabazz Memorial and Educational Center. Board Chairman Zead Ramadan said the center doesn't have a position on Hagan's release.

"I personally find it strange that for a couple decades any person convicted in the assassination of such an iconic figure would be allowed such leniency," Ramadan said.

There's outrage among some African-Americans, he said, that he's being released. Would he be set free if he had killed an iconic white leader?

"It's really a struggle for Muslims to contemplate this issue, because our faith and our religion is full of examples where we have to exert mercy," he added. "The Malcolm X story has not ended. His popularity has grown in death. ... Only God knows why this was allowed to happen."

The center is preparing for a special service next month to celebrate what would have been Malcolm X's 85th birthday. Would the center welcome Hagan if he asked to attend?

"We'd cross that bridge if he called us," Ramadan said, "Think about that: How far-fetched is it that he could meet one of the daughters of Malcolm X? And what's going to happen then? Mercy, fury, anger, emotions -- who knows?"

Malcolm X was 39 when he was gunned down in 1965.

Killed in front of his family

On February 21, 1965, Malcolm X took to the stage of the Audubon Ballroom, a site often used for civic meetings. His wife, Betty Shabazz, and four children were in the crowd.

"I heard several shots in succession," his wife later told a Manhattan grand jury. "I got on the floor, and I pushed my children under the seat and protected them with my body."

Gunshots continued to ring out, she said. Her husband's body was riddled with bullets. The native of Omaha, Nebraska, was 39

"Minister Malcolm was slaughtered like a dog in front of his family," A. Peter Bailey, one of Malcolm X's closest aides, told The New York Times on the 40th anniversary of the killing.

The assassination came after a public feud between Malcolm X and the Nation of Islam's founder, Elijah Muhammad. Malcolm X had accused Muhammad of infidelity and left the Nation in March 1964.

"For the next 11 months, there was a pattern of harassment, vilification and even on occasion literally pursuit in the streets of Malcolm by people associated with the Nation," said Claude Andrew Clegg III, author of a biography on Elijah Muhammad called An Original Man.

"Malcolm felt that if Elijah Muhammad snapped his fingers, then he could stop the escalation of the violent tone around the split of the two men. And I think there's some truth to that."

Over the years, the killing of Malcolm X has been the subject of much debate, with conspiracy theories involving the Nation of Islam and others. The Nation of Islam has repeatedly denied any involvement in Malcolm X's assassination.

Twenty-two and on a deadly mission

Hagan, then known by the name Talmadge X Hayer, was 22 and a radical member of the Nation of Islam the day he entered the ballroom armed and ready to kill. His allegiance was to the Nation's founder, and he was outraged Malcolm X had broken from its ranks.

After the shooting, Hagan tried to flee the scene but he was shot in the leg. He was beaten by the crowd before being arrested outside.

Last month, he told the parole board he felt the urge to kill Malcolm X because of his inflammatory comments about the Nation's founder.

"It stemmed from a break off and confusion in the leadership," Hagan said. "Malcolm X broke with the Nation of Islam, separated from the Nation of Islam, and in doing so there was controversy as to some of the statements he was making about the leader."

He added, "History has revealed a lot of what Malcolm X was saying was true." {He sure did pick a fine time to realize. Don't you agree??? SMH!!}

Two other men, Muhammad Abdul Aziz and Kahlil Islam, were also found guilty of murder in 1966 and received 20 years to life. Both proclaimed their innocence. Hagan, who eventually admitted his part in the murder, testified at trial and subsequent parole hearings that both men were innocent. Aziz was paroled in 1985; Islam was freed in 1987.

At last month's parole hearing, Hagan again maintained that Aziz and Islam were not the other assassins. He said it was two other men who helped plot, plan and participate in the killing.

Did they receive orders from the Nation to carry out the killing?

"I can't say that anyone in the Nation of Islam gave us the idea or instructed us to do it. We did this ourselves for the most part, yes," Hagan told the parole board.

Hagan said he received a master's degree in sociology while incarcerated and that has helped him deal with his actions from 45 years ago.

"I understand a lot better the dynamics of movements and what can happen inside movements and conflicts that can come up, but I have deep regrets about my participation in that."

He added, "Unfortunately, I didn't have an in-depth understanding of what was really going on myself to let myself be involved in anything like that. ... I can't really describe my remiss and my remorse for my actions -- basically a very young man, a very uneducated man. "

He is still a Muslim but no longer a member of the Nation of Islam. He volunteers at a mosque to help young men. He told the parole board he hopes to become a qualified substance abuse counselor.

His primary mission is to help his four children, ages 21, 17, 14 and 10. He has two other grown children.

"My focus is to maintain my family and to try to make things a little better for them. It's upward mobility, and to encourage my children to complete their education because it's a must."

As a fan of real hip hop, DUCE had many influences including Nas, AZ, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Biggie, Jay Z, and The Clipse just to name a few. However, even though he loved hip hop and music in general, DUCE Wayne never thought he would be a rapper. He made up rhymes in his head and even wrote a couple down occasionally, but never thought enough of them to actually pursue a career as an artist. He was fine with just being a hip hop connoisseur. In the back of his mind, he always had dreams of being a guest on Rap City, the show that opened his eyes to hip hop. He even had answers prepared to the potential questions the host would ask.
Fast forward to 2003-04, when DUCE Wayne was a Junior at Morgan State University. He still kept his collection of hip hop on hand, but with new mixtapes flooding the streets at the time, he had more and more inspiration to push him. He started off freestyling for family members and friends at holiday events, but after a while he began putting the pen to the pad with a purpose. Long time friend and producer Shak (Shak Trauma) told him he already had the “look” of a rapper and wanted to hear what DUCE was working with. DUCE wrote a verse, spit it to Shak, and he’s been going ever since.
Currently, working with another longtime collaborator Al Great, as well as producers like Shak Trauma, Heist, and Khafre Williams, DUCE Wayne has geared his focus on making the kind of music he came up listening to. A lyricist with a combination of witty punchlines, deep metaphors, and meaningful verses, his formula is simple: “Make the same quality music I came up listening to, and it will speak for itself.”

Tonight I was watching the Discovery Health Channel & I came across a episode on FOP that I found interesting so I felt like I wanted to share it with my fellow readers.

FOP Disorder {Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva} is a rare inherited connective tissue disorder characterized by the abnormal development of bone in areas of the body where bone is not normally present, such as the ligaments, tendons, and muscles. This disorder causes the bodies skeletal muscles and soft connective tissue to undergo a metamorphosis, a transformation into bone, progressively locking joints in place and making movement difficult and impossible. As the disease progresses, there may be other skeletal malformations and the abnormal development of bone may lead to stiffness in affected joints such as knees, wrists, shoulders, spine, and/or neck. Its almost as if your body is a prison & your skeleton entraps you.

Its stories like these that should make everyone count their blessings. People spend so much time complaining about what they don't have, instead of being thankful for the smaller things in life. Like in the case, the ability to walk. I'm sure people with this disorder would give anything to be normal, instead they keep their faith & have strong "Wills" regardless their circumstances.

EVALUATE YOUR LIFE PEOPLE!!! I KNOW SOMETIMES IT FEELS LIKE YOU HAVE THE WEIGHT OF THE WORLD ON YOUR SHOULDERS, BUT ITS FOLKS WITH WAY WORST SITUATIONS THAN YOU. "Parenthood" is something that many many people experience but not many live up to. I believe parenthood is a job that requires a lot of responsibility, time & patience from both parents. Now I am fully aware of how hard it is out here today and I'm also aware that some people situations are different from others, such as financial stability, single parenthood, number of children, etc. But as I observe certain situations I have come to realize that a lot of people live outside their means. I know that everyone want the best for their children, but sometimes we must prioritize our children "WANTS" & "NEEDS". Like for instance people tend to buy expensive apparel, electronics, etc. but most of the time does your child really deserve it???

"Your children need your presence more than your presents".

I'm not implying that you shouldn't buy your children nice things, but what I am saying is that as parents we need to be more conservative with our spending and budget more. I think we should invest more into our children future instead of their present. Just think, a lot of money we spend on things today our children will outgrown anyway, so why not put more money into their future, like CD Bonds, life insurance, school tuition, academic programs, etc.

In my eyes time is the most important element in parenthood, time is "PRICELESS" because it does not cost a penny to "SPEND" time. "Kids spell love T-I-M-E". The more time you spend with your child the more opportunity you have to instill good morals & values in them. Also time & communication builds a comfort level and enhances the relationship with your child. Having a good relationship with your child is very important because when it becomes time for your child to express themselves or talk to you about things they're going through you want them to feel comfortable. Parents should be more upfront with their children because children today are a lot more advance & knowledgeable about things that we think they aren't. As a parent the last thing we want is for our child to consult with their peers about things that would be better advised by the parent.

Parents have the tendency to complain about the school systems & curriculum but truth be told school starts at home. I also believe that parents are more than just parents, we are teachers & the household is the classroom. If you're not satisfied with the progression that your child is making in school, I think that as parents we should go the extra step to make sure that our children improves in whatever area that they are struggling with. Of course if your child suffers from A.D.H.D, Dyslexia or any other learning disorder than that's another story.

"Spare the Rod, Spoil the Child".

If one does not discipline their child, he will not learn obedience and good manners. I've never been the type to tell people how to raise their children but it seems today that a lot of children lack respect and have behavior problems. Now I'm not saying you should abuse your child but discipline or some type of punishment is definitely necessary. What a lot of people don't realize is your child is a reflection of you. With that being said parents should be more cautious about what they say & do around their children. "Children hear what you say, but remember what you do".

"It's not only children who grow. Parents do too. As much as we watch to see what our children do with their lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours".

Earlier I touched on people not living up to being good parents; especially in our culture. Now don't get me wrong I acknowledge everyone that works hard to provide for their children; especially single parents, I commend your hard work. Now-a-days parents tend to act more like a sibling or a friend to their child instead of a parent. Its always good to have that friendly like bond with your child however a child must still remain in a child's place. Parents sometimes think their children can do no wrong. Children have been known to take advantage of parents when they know that the parent will always side with them. When a situation arises and your child is accused of being at fault, we should evaluate the situation thoroughly before always taking our child side.

No one is saying that being a parent is easy, we learn as we go; you're going to have good times & you're going to have hard times but everyone knows experience is the best teacher. Sometimes you have to put things into proper perspective & what I've come up with is a good parent is one who does not hinder their child (don't handicap your children by making their lives easy) but give them the proper preparation for adulthood.

I must admit as a African American I'm very very proud of this significance moment in the history of Disney Films.

Is it safe to call this the Obama effect or a reflection of the changing times, Disney will now try to woo audiences with a animated African American princess, Tiana paired with a white prince called Naveen in the film The Princess and the Frog. Disney films, who have brought alive many fairytale romances with films like Snow White will now be pairing a black princess with a white prince for an inter-racial romance. While some have hailed Disney's decision as a reflection of melting pot America, others say the company is sending out a mixed message. Disney had earlier paired a Red Indian princess with an English soldier in Pocahontas. Both the lead characters in Aladin had a middle-eastern appearances.

Since Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937, most of Disney's princesses have predominantly been white, except for The Princess and the Frog.

This Film will be released December 11th of this year, I don't know about anyone else but me & my daughter will be there opening day.

Foundation of a Relationship

What does it take to build a strong relationship???

It seems that now-a-days folks have no clue. Mind you these are just my thoughts. I think what most relationships lack is friendship. What I mean by that is taking the time out to get to know one another and establishing a friendship first. Sometimes folks can be so overwhelmed by the situation that they move too fast. Now I don't know when it is the right time to become a couple, but I do know that learning a person makes the situation better. People tend to rush into situations not knowing the little things about each other, such as favorite colors, music, movies, what makes them laugh or what makes them cry, even their past. It's almost like your involved with a stranger. Which leads me to my next questions is it love or lust most of the time? I understand when you first meet a person its more of a physical attraction, but you can not base the possibilities of having a long term relationship on the physical. Conversation is key and plays a big part of getting to know someone's personality. Conversation allows you to learn a person's likes, dislikes & things you may have in common. You can also determine the level of someone's intellect, goals and ambitions through conversation.

Insecurities!!!

What is Insecurities???

Let's say that this situation has grown into a relationship. Is it one's own low self esteem or lack of confidence that cause's insecurity? Or is it just simply jealousy? First and foremost I believe that if you feel any type of insecurity you should express it to your mate immediately. Here are some examples of insecurity. Say you got all the confidence in the world about your looks, but financially you're not doing so well. In situations like this sometimes insecurities can sink in. And when that happens it causes arguments that may put a strain on the relationship. Another form of insecurity is low self esteem. If you sense or know that your mate has low self esteem you should always find away to build them up and boost their confidence level. I know that its other things in a relationships that causes insecurities but the last thing I want to speak on is jealousy. We all know about jealousy so there is really no need to elaborate on it. I will say this if your mate has jealousy issues it may be best to get out of the relationship before it gets out of hand. Here's a good quote for jealousy in a relationship:

"Jealousy in romance is like salt in food. A little can enhance the savor, but too much can spoil the pleasure and, under certain circumstances, can be life-threatening."

Trust!!!

Trust is "PROBABLY" the most important element in a relationship. In my eyes if there is no trust, there is really no point in trying to commit. Trust is hard to earn now-a-days especially with all the immature games that people tend to play. Its like these days folks want to have their cake and eat it to. I feel you should never lead a person on, if your not interested in someone I think its best to let them know so they can move on with their life.

Growth!!!

Everything grows with time. Eventually the friendship grows into a relationship, feelings have developed, good conversation has built up the trust level and at this point there is no need for insecurities. Finally!!! if all goes well this new bond has developed into "LOVE".

If There Is No Growth...There Is No Need To Water A Dead Plant....

Hidden Signs In Corporate Logo's

People you can take what you want from this blog. I just thought it was interesting, so I wanted to share it with my fellow readers. Sometimes people see the obvious and still doubt. So feel free to speculate, I'm going to continue to deliver food for thought.

Not many people are aware that corporations and advertising companies use specific colors, numbers, tones, patterns, symbols, and sequences in their ads and logos, that have a subversive or "subliminal" effect on the sub-conscious mind. Most (if not all) forms of media, including movies, video games, books and music, as well as religious myths, cultural traditions, commen slogans and phrases, as well as even child hood past-time games and activities (such as cards, dice, chutes and ladders, etc.) have been and are still used to covertly deliver multi-layered messages or "suggestions".

This is the well known Arm & Hammer company logo and as you can see it is a reference to the Masonic gavel, often used with the book and compass. The symbol itself is specifically of the Hammer of Thor from Greek mythology.

This is the popular "Chanel" logo. It is two C's interlocked as a reference to the 33rd degree of Freemasonry (the numerical value for two C's in the Hebrew alphabet is 33).

This is the Chrysler logo. It is a pentagram inside a pentagon (both of which are Occult symbols). The logo on the bottom is also a replica of the winged disc)symbol of "Horus" (the Egyptian son of God).

This is the Chevron gas logo and it is actually the "Double Ashlar" of Freemasonry. The symbol is two three-dimensional boxes (one on top of the other) with the higher box representing the secret societies literally "on top" of and regulating civilization (the lower box). The colors blue and red are also a reference to the blue and red degrees of Masonry.

This is the Texaco gas company logo. The "T" symbol in the middle is the powerful "Tau" of ancient Greek and Hebrew alphabets, and is placed in the center of a pentagram with strong use of the color in this "sigil".

This is the Exxon gas company logo. The two X's crossed into is actually the symbol of the Royal Cross of Loraine, whom are a very powerful and wealthy French royal family.

This is the ARCO gas logo. The red square is a commen Masonic symbol and in this logo it is also made to look like a sky view of a pyramid with the capstone missing from the top (see The American Dollar).

This is the Information Awareness Office logo (an extension of the Department of Defense). As you can see it has the symbol of the pyramid with the All Seeing Eye over-looking (over-ruling) planet Earth.

We see a similar motif of the All Seeing Eye inside the pyramid capstone in the America Online company logo.

In MSN messenger (third icon from the top, also the fifth icon is a reference to The Mark Of The Beast).

Here is the All Seeing Eye used by Nickelodeon (can you find all 12?) Also, the lightening symbol on the left is the light of "Lucifer" (man radiated in its spiritual state) coming from Heavenly planes down to the material realm.

This is the Starbuck's logo. The woman in the center is the Egyptian Goddess "Isis" with two snakes on her side merging at her crown as a reference to infinity or "divinity". The three stars in the logo are also a reference to the Holy Trinity.

This is the Apple computer logo and it is actually an Occult reference to Eve's forbidden apple with the bite taken out of it from the Creation Story (the colors used are also of significance).

We see the All Seeing Eye used again in Apple Itunes (top right corner).

This is the Discover card logo. It is actually meant to read Disc-Over with the yellow "O" as an astrological reference to ancient Sun worship.

This is the famous McDonald's logo. Most people think the logo is an "M" but it is really an astrological reference to the horns of the Aeries Ram from the Zodiac.

First & foremost by now I'm sure my readers know these are just my thoughts. There's no proof behind my theories.(not yet anyway)

“Do What Thou Wilt” I thought this was a interesting phrase & I also thought it was even more interesting for Jay-Z to be wearing It on His hooding on the set of "Run This Town" video shoot. We all know by now the accusations of Jay-Z being apart of Freemason or a Cult. But its almost like Jay-Z is hinting his involvement by using occult symbolism in his video "Run This Town" & certain things He says in his music. I will point out some of the verses I'm speaking of later. Another thing is Jay-Z knows a lot of what he speaks on goes over the heads of most of his listeners, but those who the message is intended for gets it. Its almost as if He deliberately puts signs out there that says He's involve but society is to ignorant to catch on, the vast majority anyway.

Now!!! Let's get in to it. “Do What Thou Wilt” I'm not sure if my fellow readers are familiar with where this phrase comes from, but I'll be more then happy to fill you in.

Here is a photograph of Aleister Crowley: Reformer of the O.T.O. whose motto was “Do what Thou Wilt”. He also enjoyed being called ”The wickedest man in the world”.

If your not familiar with Him google Him.

"Do What Thou Wilt” is the official dictum of the Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O.) and of its reformer, occultist Aleister Crowley. The O.T.O. is a hermetic order modeled after Freemasonry and German Illuminism and teaches its initiates the secrets of the Mysteries, gnosticism, sex magick, Kaballah and other occult sciences. Contrarily to Freemasonry, the O.T.O. is however based on the “Law of Thelema” which main precept is “Do What Thou Wilt be the whole of the Law“. Although this saying was interpreted in different ways, most agree that it refers to the dismissal of conventional moral and ethical rules in order to find one’s “True Will”. In other words, the usual guidelines by which good and evil are determined have to be blurred and forgotten to obtain the true path to illumination. Crowley explains this notion rather clearly here:

“There are no “standards of Right”. Ethics is balderdash. Each Star must go on its own orbit. To hell with “moral principle”; there is no such thing”

Although not officially considered “satanic”, the O.T.O. does fully embrace the Luciferian doctrine (see Crowley’s poem “Hymn to Lucifer) and its high level members are referred to as “Most Illuminated and Most Puissant Baphomet”. Baphomet is of course the horned androgynous idol of Western Occultism.

Is Jay-Z part of the O.T.O. or does he just like that shirt? I Don’t know. And that's not what I'm implying. I'm just pointing out some things that may or may not be a coincidence.

Jay-Z and Occult Symbolism:

Now most would argue that the sign (ROC sign) Jay-Z throws in the air is a Diamond, Jay-Z usually tells his fans to "Put Your Diamonds Up". But is it really a Diamond???? Or is it a Pyramid with the All-See-Eye in it. I'll leave that up for you to research & decide. But again it may or may not be a coincidence.

"Masters of the Craft" is a 100% Masonic saying and the All-Seeing Eye of the Great Architect depicted here is directly taken from Masonic works. Notice also the secret handshake depicted in a circle.

Jay-Z Verses & “Run This Town” Analysis:

So this is the video at face value: Jay-Z, Rihanna and Kanye West are performing in front of an angry mob, which to me depicts anarchy. The visuals of the video hint a occult meaning to the song. At the beginning of the video, a man hands a lit torch to Rihanna who holds it up in the air. This symbolic gesture sums up perfectly the concept of the video.

Anybody vaguely familiar with occultism can easily associate the symbol of the lit torch held high to Lucifer a.k.a. the Light Bearer. The Torch of Illumination is the ultimate symbol of this philosophy and can be found in many instances (see Statue of Liberty, a gift from French Freemasons). The goal of the Illuminist has been put in plain in simple words: they are dedicated to the “coming forth of the conquering light“. “Run This Town” visually represents this aim in a clear way for the initiates yet concealed for the profane.

Consequently, the video contains a second level of interpretation: “Run This Town” is an announcement of the coming of a New World Order, lead by secret (Luciferian) societies. Or is it??? Once again I'll leave that up for you to research & decide. Rihanna’s ominous intro explains how it is going down.

Rihanna’s lyrics are announcing an imminent change that might terrify or enrage some people (”hear the screams from everywhere“). The torches hint to a new spiritual and philosophical era where Lucifer is king. She is “addicted to the thrill” of being on the dark side and she knows that dealing with it is a “dangerous love affair“. But regardless of all of this, it all comes down to control, hence “Only thing that’s on my mind is who gon run this town tonight“.

Then Jay-Z comes along and announces the coming of “Roc Nation” (Roc being a diminutive of Rocafella, the name of his record label, which is based on the elite family Rockefeller)

Get y’all fatigues on, all black everything
Black cards, black cars, all black everything
And our girls are blackbirds, riding with they Dillingers

Back to running circles ’round niggas, now we squared up

Jay-Z is asking you to “Pledge your allegiance” to the new ruler and to wear black everything to honor him. Jay’s lyrics contain hints to Freemasonry who are hidden in the double meaning of some lines. “I gave Doug a grip” means he gave Doug a stack of money but the double meaning to that line would refer to the Masons’ secret handshakes which are called “grips”. And who is Doug? Might be Doug Morris. The last line of his first verse is “Back to running circles’ round niggas, now we squared up“. Aside from its obvious meaning, it also refers to the important Masonic concept of “squaring the circle”, which is way too deep to explain here (”I get more in-depth if you boys really real enough“). In the second verse, Jay-Z says ”It’s the return of thee god“, which refers to the Luciferian belief of men being gods. This term is often used in NY slang and originates from the fact that many rappers were Five-Percenters, a philosophy based on the belief that all men are gods. Further in the song Jay-Z says: “I’m in Maison, ugh, Martin Margiela” which is a upper-end fashion store. English speaking people usually pronounce the french word ”maison” to sound like ”mayzaun”. Jay-Z however says it to sound like “mason” as in “Freemason”. There is an obvious double-meaning here meant to catch the ear of the listener. He basically says “I’m in Mason” to make people say “huh did he really say that?” as “I’m a Freemason” but he then continues by saying “ugh, Martin Margiela“. The little pause after he says those words accentuate the effect. Then Rihanna comes back with the chorus.

Life’s a game but it’s not fair

Only thing that’s on my mind

She says that the game of life is corrupted but she still succeeds because she “breaks the rules”. In other words, she ignores the boundaries between good and evil to achieve her goals. This might remind you of the saying “Do What Thou Wilt” of the Ordo Templi Orientis described above. Those lines refer to her as a person and also to the Order as a whole, who is prepared to commit the most horrible acts to reach its goals. “Victory’s within the mile” means that the realization of the New World Order is at its final stages and that the Illuminati-sponsored revolution is about to happen.

So “Run This Town” contains obvious hints leading towards Luciferian philosophy and occult orders. The fire of Lucifer’s torch esoterically represents divine knowledge and wisdom brought to men. Fire in this video is however a destructive force. What type of knowledge are we giving these rebellious people, who represent the masses of fans.

One Last Thing:

This Photograph made me think otherwise about NAS. Could he be involved now???? I don't know, its just my crazy train of thought. Don't mine me. But look closely at their handshake.

Earlier I put up a Jay-Z verse from "Run This Town" Jay-Z says:

"A Grip" Now to most people that means, a bunch of my money, a lot of money ETC.

But in Freemasonry "A Grip" is a Handshake.

This is a interesting clip; I must say I disagree with two statements from two of the Brothers on the panel.

The first Brother said "If you want to be Lil Wayne & you fail, you just a broke Brother at home with rhymes" To me that's a discouraging statement, now I will say everyone "WILL NOT" become a Lil Wayne or even reach His status. But who's to say that person "WONT BECOME" a successful song writer or even a ghost writer for that matter. Further more who's to say He's gonna be a "BROKE BROTHER WITH RHYMES" he may still be a success in something else. With that being said, I say to everyone strive to be whatever you wish but always have a back up plan.

The second Brother said "If He sends His child to a D.C. public school He's making a very clear statement that I value this education. This is where I live, this is where I gonna send my kids to school" Is it Me or does anyone else want to ask Him is He "SERIOUS". I understand the point He's trying to make but this is the President their talking about, under no circumstances would I suggest that the President enroll His kids into Public schooling. Not even because of the of the education system, but because of the inconvenience and danger that his kids and other kids would be in. What I mean by that is if a terrorist or any criminal of some sort found out what "PUBLIC" school the President children attended, it in my mind would immediately be a problem. There's nothing wrong with public schools everyone can't afford private schools. I went to public schools myself, But "COME ON" the President sending his kids there I "TOTALLY" disagree.

Are you Afraid of Death? I'm not afraid to admit that I ponder about death more times than usual now-a-days & I'm somewhat afraid. Maybe its not so much that I'm afraid of death because I know death is certain, I'm just scared of leaving anytime soon or at a young age. You ever hear people say "He left before His time" I'm always confused by that statement because I always thought life was preordained. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe you can leave before your time I don't agree but maybe. I've loss so many love one's to "death" that I tend to think about it often. Most folk would say "WELL YOU NEED TO GET RIGHT WITH GOD". But that's not my problem because my "Faith" leads my to believe that I'm right with GOD. Then one may ask "well whats your problem"? I guess I've came to realize everyday you live you getting closer to death, I mean think about it "Death" is always trying to get you: from a "MINOR" injury to a "MAJOR" car accident the Grim Reaper never seems to be at "REST". The world we live in today makes it hard not to ponder about death, as I think of all the crime & corruption we're going through this day and age the global crisis etc. Its like we're one "Deep Breathe" away from "Anarchy". See the truth is I'm afraid of dying a failure, I probably would turn over in my grave if I left this world feeling that way. I think once I've reached & accomplished some of the goals I've set for myself then maybe my fear of death will simmer. I just feel I have a lot of unfinished business in this "LIFE" & once I get it taken care of I wont be so afraid of "Death"

H1N1 Is It a Conspiracy????

First and for most I would like to point out the fact that these are just my thoughts and there's no proof behind my theory. But it does make you think is H1N1 a Government Conspiracy. I'm not sure if some of you know, but this is not the first time that America was exposed to the Swine Flu. In 1976 exactly "33" years ago there was a Nation Wide Alert on the Swine Flu. Americans began to panic thinking that it would become a Epidemic, just like today people was in a frenzy for the "Vaccine" & like any person that's in a state of panic or fright the first and what seemed like the most logical thing to do was to sought after the vaccine. But there were many reports back than that the vaccine was not only bad for you but it also was making fully functional people disable. As I research and learn more about the Swine Flu cases of 1976 it seems almost like deja vu today & that gives me more reason to avoid getting the flu shot if I can. Growing up in East Baltimore Jahmar Young aka "JY" always had "Hoop Dreams" but like most young men growing up in the streets of Baltimore JY was sidetracked by the streets & what was going on in his environment. He had his share of getting in trouble & his share of run in's with the law. But JY was blessed to have had people in his corner who believed in him. He started playing AAU Basketball at a young age when his skills started to develop. He continued to play AAU Ball until he went to high school, he attended Northern High School where he really started to excel & make a name for himself; he spent three years there than he enrolled in Laurinburg Prep School. From there Jahmar earned himself a scholarship to New Mexico State. His journey is far from over, if it's the Lord's Will the next stop will be the NBA for JY. Until than Jahmar continues to work hard at improving his game & he uses his father's death & his daughter's birth as motivation.

2007-08 (Freshman): In his first season with the Aggies, Jahmar Young was a vital component in the NMSU offense. He was one of six players that averaged 10 points or more per game. Young averaged 10.3 points per contest in 21 appearances in the Crimson and White. He started in five games and shot 43.9 percent from the field and 81.6 percent from the free-throw line. Young also posted 26 steals and 22 assists as a freshman. In only his second WAC game, Young torched Boise State for a career-high 33 points in Boise, Idaho (Jan. 10) to give the Aggies a 3-0 start in league play. He was the first Aggie to score 33 points since Duane John accomplished the feat against New Mexico, Dec. 3, 2003. Young scored in double-figures in 11 games. At Louisville (Dec. 22), Young had 11 points, which began a four-game streak of double-digit scoring performances. In the next game, he provided 12 points against Alcorn State (Dec. 31). Young then posted 12 points in only 17 minutes before he was sidelined with an ankle injury in the WAC season opener at Idaho (Jan. 2). After missing the Fresno State game (Jan. 5) because of the injury, Young rebounded with the 33-point effort against the Broncos. In the first meeting of the year with Nevada (Jan. 24), he posted 19 points. His next double-digit scoring performance was against Boise State (Feb. 9) when Young supplied 18 points off the bench. To end the regular season, he scored in double-figures in three of the last four games; 18 at Nevada (Feb. 28), 11 versus San Jose State (March 6) and 12 against Hawai’i (March 8). Young continued the trend with 11 points against Idaho (March 13) in the Aggies quarterfinal game of the WAC Tournament. In conference games, Young ranked ninth in steals per game with 1.29.

High School: Young was rated as the No. 26 best prep recruit by hoopscooponline.com. As a youngster, he played for various AAU programs, including the DC Assault and Cecil Kirk. In 2004, Young averaged 18.3 points per game and shot 47.5 percent from the field in a four-game tournament for Cecil Kirk. Young, who shot 50 percent from 3-point range and 64.3 percent from the free-throw line, also averaged 2.8 assists and 2.5 rebounds during the tournament. Against Nike Team Florida in 2004 (July 21), Young went 11-for-23 from the field and 5-for-7 from 3-point land to lead his team with 34 points.

Suppose that Leonardo, Monet, Picasso, or any of the recognized artisans of Western European culture were alive in the present day. Then, suppose that one of these famous artists decided to paint a masterpiece on the side of your house or on your front door or on a wall in your neighborhood. Would Picasso or Monet's markings be graffiti or art or vandalism or graffiti art? The answer may vary across people, but I would claim that those markings are art in the form of graffiti. Their markings would qualify as vandalism only if they appeared on private or public property without permission. The same answer holds for the present day, genre of graffiti known as graffiti art.

Graffiti art originated in the late 1960's, and it has been developing ever since. However, it is not readily accepted as being art like those works that are found in a gallery or a museum. It is not strictly denied the status of genuine art because of a lack of form or other base aesthetic elements. Most of the opposition to graffiti art is due to its location and bold, unexpected, and unconventional presentation, but its presentation and often illegal location does not necessarily disqualify it as art. I elucidate how some forms of graffiti can be accepted as art. This type of graffiti is known as graffiti art, subway art, or spraycan art. The arguments of vandalism and unconventional presentation as negating the ability of some graffiti to be art is usurped by an explanation of those properties apparent in some forms of graffiti that do qualify it, aesthetically, as art. To show this, I provide a historical context of graffiti, and then I provide persuasive evidence that graffiti art is art.

The origins of graffiti go back to the beginnings of human, societal living. Graffiti has been found on uncovered, ancient, Egyptian monuments, and graffiti even was preserved on walls in Pompeii. Graffiti is the plural form of the Italian word grafficar. In plural, grafficar signifies drawings, markings, patterns, scribbles, or messages that are painted, written, or carved on a wall or surface. Grafficar also signifies "to scratch" in reference to different wall writings ranging from "cave paintings", bathroom scribbles, or any message that is scratched on walls. In reference to present day graffiti, the definition is qualified by adding that graffiti is also any unsolicited marking on a private or public property that is usually considered to be vandalism.

Modern graffiti art originated in New York City, and it was known first as "New York Style" graffiti. This art form began in the late 1960's when teens used permanent markers to tag or write their names, followed by the number of the street on which they lived, in subway cars. This trend originated with the appearance of "Taki 183" which was the tag of a Greek American boy named Demitrius. Tagging soon became a way to get one's name known throughout the city. However, it should be noted that tagging appeared in Philadelphia before New York. The monikers, "Cornbread" and "Top Cat" were well known in Philadelphia, and when Top Cat's style appeared in New York, it was dubbed as "Broadway Style" for its long skinny lettering.

The advent of the spray paint allowed for the tag to develop in size and color. For it was not enough just to have one's name scrawled over any available and visible surface because everyone was doing this. The spraycan separated the taggers from the artists in that color, form, and style could be emphasized creatively with this new tool to produce s tag as a part of an overall artistic production. The tag which is monochromatic and a writing style that just about anyone can do, gave way to the throw-up, which is a two color tag usually in outline or bubble-like lettering. Again this style is not too difficult, but soon more complicated styles evolved. The stamp is a little harder and involves the use straight letters to produce a 3-D effect. The piece, which is short for masterpiece, appeared next, and it is a large multicolor work. A production is a piece that is usually on the scale of a mural, and it involves original or familiar cartoon characters in addition to the writer or graffiti artist's name. It should be noted that every graffiti form listed involves the artist's name, whether as the central feature or as an ornament within the piece because writers want to be known. Hence, finding new and creative ways to display one's tag in a highly visible place, as opposed to just scribbling it everywhere, was the fundamental force spurring the development of modern graffiti art.

In summary, some forms of graffiti become art according to four criteria. First, graffiti art is separated from everyday graffiti markings by the artist's intention to produce a work of art. Second, graffiti art has an established history of development in style and technique. Third, graffiti art even has been recognized by the art world. A fourth criterion is that the public response to graffiti art indicates that it is art. Whether or not all of the public agrees that graffiti art is good, bad, or extremely valuable is a different discussion about evaluation and not whether or not graffiti art is art. The evaluative concerns actually play more into where, when, and how graffiti art should be displayed.

Therefore, graffiti in the form of spraycan art is art. It has form, color, and other base properties as well as an arrangement of these elements into structures that qualify it aesthetically as being art. Just doing something with spray paint might make it graffiti, but it does not necessarily qualify it as art or graffiti art. In addition, when the spraycan art is analyzed according to the artist's intention and value to audience, there is even more evidence to suggest that it is genuine art. The only obstacle that has hindered the general acceptance of graffiti art is its location and presentation. However, the instances of acceptance of graffiti art by the art world shows that conventional methods of presentation are not all that matters in determining if something is art. And graffiti art is not to be disqualified as art simply because it might appear unsolicited. In short, graffiti in the form of spray can art is art like any other work that might be found in a gallery or a museum.

"Break a Leg" is a well known saying in show business which means "good luck". It is typically said to actors before they go out onto stage to perform. In this case the phrase "Break a Leg" didn't bring much "good luck" to actor/rapper Drake, it all most seems like he reenacts his character "Jimmy" from the sitcom "Degrassi". I must say in this mere moment of tragedy Lil Wayne managed to bring humor to a bad situation. Now some folks are gonna see this blog & immediately build doubt. Which is understandable I just ask, no I beg that you research for yourself. This documentary speaks on a lot of the topics I've already spoke on in previous blogs. Like the Illuminati for instance. Me & my fellow colleague (JOEY) has built on this topic time in time again, how we believe some rappers are (Masons). Just think about it, once your money gets to a certain level, I believe the "ELITE" will sought after you. Once again there's no proof behind my theory it's just my train of thought, but it is logical. I must admit I never thought Tupac was a Mason, I've always thought he was the rebellious type. But it all makes sense to me now. Even Nelly was a surprise but if you look at his numbers over the years its not that surprising now that I think about it. To name a few, I believe Nas, Common, Puffy, Jay-Z, T.I., Mos Def & a lot more are among the "ELITE". I'm not accusing none of these guys of any type of government conspiracy or anything of that nature. I'm simply saying "POWER" is everything & the "POWER" all those guys I named possess is they all have money & most importantly they all have influence over the "PEOPLE". Anyone who can influence a Culture or Nation is POWERFUL so why not let them join the team??? Feel Me??? Once again there's no proof behind my theory, simply my train of thought. Shit!!! Don't get me wrong I wouldn't mine being apart of the "ELITE" myself that's why I'm studying now.

A "Undying Love"

A Undying Love. At least that's what Nas thought he had, I really don't know the situation between Nas & Kelis but I do know towards the end it "seems" Nas caught a raw deal. A few months back it was "alleged" that Kelis had a sex tape with underground rapper Infra Red, I guess her "Milkshake" really do bring the boys the yard. For the record I never saw the tape but Wendy Williams claims to have a copy. Let's fast forward the situation, we all know Nas & Kelis was Married, we also know Nas filed for a divorce back in April & they were expecting a baby.

Well they had their baby boy. His name is "Knight". Most people are probably wondering why would Nas name his son "Knight", I'm not sure either but I do know the meaning behind it, I also know Nas is a very well educated & conscious brother.

Knight:

A defender, champion, or zealous upholder of a cause or principle.

The devoted champion of a lady.

But here's where things get worst, it was reported that Nas was not allowed in the hospital when his son was born. I have three kids of my own & I probably would had went to jail if I was told I couldn't be present for their birth. But to put the icing on the cake Kelis was awarded Spousal & Child Support From Nas. Nas must pay Kelis $44,000 a month until September hearing thats over $1,400 a day.( I'm not sure if that number is accurate) I'm not a mathematician but that's like $528,000 per year, and by the time the kid is 18, Nas will have paid $9,504,000. (Ray Carruth Flash Back). Nas once wrote a song called "Undying Love"

The Ability to Write

The Ability to Write is a gift, whether it be journalism, song writing, film writing etc. You must be able to captivate your readers & hold their attention. This Young Lady harnesses those skills. I'm quite impressed with all she's accomplished so far, sky's truly the limit for her. She should be an example for all women especial here in Baltimore, you can possess Style, Sex Appeal & all the other qualities men go crazy over. But it's the intellect that wins us over every time. It's people like this that makes me proud to be from Baltimore, with all the negative press we get in our City, it's good to find a bright spot here. With all the hard work she's puts in, I think if safe to say we'll be reading some good books by JO Writer sooner than we think.

Jennifer Ogunsola is an up and coming journalist on a mission to make a name for herself in the literary world. She grew up in Baltimore, MD, and has also lived in Philadelphia, PA and New York City. At BET, she worked on three prominent TV shows, The Center, 106 & Park, and Dr. Bobby Jones Gospel. Jennifer also worked on the 2008 BET Hip-Hop Awards. The BET Network reaches more than 87 million households according to Nielsen media research, and can been seen in the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. Jennifer has also done communications consultant work for OmniBlue Marketing. Here she developed a college representative program and has written for their monthly newsletters.

Jennifer is an active member in journalistic organizations that helps her keep abreast of what's important and what's on the horizon in journalism, as well as aiding her in enhancing her journalistic style. Several of these organizations include: the International Radio and Television Society, the National Association of Black Journalists and Society of Professional Journalists.

Jennifer works as the editorial assistant for Avenue Report Magazine, produces a show on 1010 AM- WOLB, a Radio One station, and is currently working on her first book.

FINALLY!!!! I Think this is what the World's been waiting for, Now maybe We'll gave Chris Brown a Break & let Him move on with His Life & Continue to make Good Music. Everyone make mistakes.
